Overview

Zotac RTX 5090

The EK-Pro GPU Zotac RTX 5090 Nickel + Inox is a high-performance water block designed specifically for the ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX™ 5090 SOLID OC graphics card. It cools the GPU die, VRAM, and VRM efficiently with low hydraulic flow restriction, making it compatible with modest pump setups in compact workstation builds.

The block occupies a single PCIe slot width — a deliberate design decision for workstations where adjacent slot clearance is a constraint. A nickel-plated copper base contacts the die and VRAM directly, with a stainless-steel top and POM Acetal side-terminal block. Pre-installed brass standoffs on the retention backplate simplify installation to a direct replacement of the stock air cooler.

Integration with EK-Pro QDC kits and manifolds is built in via two G1/4″ ports on the terminal block, supporting high compute-density applications where the cooling loop services multiple cards from a single manifold.

Three design decisions worth calling out

Single-slot workstation profile

The block is machined to a 20 mm depth and single PCIe slot width, making it the correct choice for compact workstation chassis where a two-slot block would obstruct an adjacent PCIe device. Despite the reduced depth, full-cover contact across GPU die, VRAM, and VRM is maintained.

QDC kit and manifold compatible

Two G1/4″ ports on the side terminal block provide direct integration with EK-Pro Quick Disconnect kits and the full manifold range. This allows the card to be removed from a populated loop without draining — a meaningful operational advantage in workstations serviced in the field.

Pressure envelope

Working pressure is 2 500 Pa. Maximum rated pressure is 30 000 Pa in loops containing an EK-Pro Pump Reservoir Manifold, and 75 000 Pa in all other configurations. These figures are published at the supplier level and are consistent across the GPU water-block family.
